Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard wants to sign another central midfielder, reports have claimed.
Gerrard has added five new players to his squad this summer, including midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
But with several midfielders facing an uncertain future, the Express & Star says Gerrard wants to bolster the position.
Morgan Sanson, Douglas Luiz and Carney Chukwuemeka have been linked with exits.
Luiz and Carney Chukwuemeka are both out of contract next year.
