Brown Ideye’s contract with Goztepe terminated

Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe have terminated their contract with ex-Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye, with immediate effect.
The club confirmed this in a statement on their website on Monday.
“As a result of the negotiations with our player Brown Ideye, his contract was mutually terminated.
“We would like to thank Ideye and wish him success in his continuing football life,†it read in part.
Ideye has only played 37 minutes in five league fixtures for Goztepe this season.
The 33-year-old was an unused sub in a 2-1 home win over Gaziantep FK on December 12.
He has scored twice in 30 appearances since joining from Aris Salonika of Greece last season.
The former West Bromwich Albion striker, previously played for Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine, Sochaux of France as well as Greek champions Olympiacos.
