Champions League: John Terry calls Chelsea defender, Rudiger ‘animal’
Chelsea legend, John Terry, has hailed defender, Antonio Rudiger, as an ‘animal’ in football. Terry said this ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League round of 16 first leg tie against Lille on Tuesday. The former England defender said he loves Rudiger, adding that Chelsea are lucky to have him at the West London club. “@Tonirudiger I love you brother what a player, the passion he shows for our club is what I love to see, great defender and an absolute animal. “Lucky to have you at our club,” Terry wrote in an Instagram Q&A when asked what his thoughts on Rudiger were. Rudiger joined Chelsea from Serie A side, AS Roma, in 2017. The 28-year-old’s contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.
