Former Liverpool striker, Peter Crouch, has identified Phil Foden as the Manchester City player that has no fear in big games.
Crouch said this on Wednesday night after Foden’s impressive displays in Man City’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Foden added a second goal against Dortmund to secure a place in the Champions League semi-finals for Pep Guardiola’s side after Riyad Mahrez had earlier equalised from the penalty spot.
Man City will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final later this month.
“He’s 20 years old, and he has absolutely no fear whatsoever [in big games],” Crouch told BT Sport.
“Man City fans can relate to him, he’s a mainstay in the team, and that’s what fans want to see. He’s been fabulous this season.”
