Emmanuel Emenike has yet to complete his transfer to Olympiacos just as the Greek champions departed for pre-season training in Belgium.
Emenike arrived Athens yesterday morning and he is expected to undergo a routine medical after which he will sign for Olympiacos.
The 30-year-old Nigeria striker is surplus to requirement at Fenerbache and he is close to signing a two-year deal with Olympiacos after they agreed a 2.5 million Euros transfer fee with the Turkish giants.
A squad of 24 players flew out to Belgium Wednesday morning and will train there till July 16 during which they will play pre-season friendlies against Lokeren and Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
‘The Reds’ are also preparing for the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League.
