Nottingham Forest stunned Liverpool 1-0, Chelsea and Manchester United settled for a 1-1 draw. Haaland scored a brace as Manchester City beat Brighton. Arsenal settled for a 1-1 draw away at Southampton. Aston Villa thrashed Brentford 4-0 in the first game post-Steven Gerrard.
