Eriksen: I want to play in UCL, I have many options

Brentford's Christian Eriksen has announced that he has aspirations to play in the Champions League again, after revealing he has multiple options regarding his club next season.

The Danish midfielder signed a six-month deal at Brentford earlier this year after recovering from his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 last month.

The Bees have publicly revealed their desire to keep him, despite Eriksen being linked with many of Europe's elite - including a return to former club Tottenham,

But Eriksen admitted that playing in the Champions League is not essential in his decision-making, which could please Brentford.

“I have different offers and options, which we are considering, and then we make a decision," he told Viaplay after Brentford's 3-2 win at Everton.

“I would love to play Champions League football again. I know how much fun it is, but it isn’t essential for me.”
