Fulham loan star Cedric Soares wants to stay at Arsenal and fight for his place next season.
The veteran, who Arsenal signed from Southampton, has been at the Craven Cottage club for the second half of this season.
After only starting three games for Fulham, Soares is heading back to Arsenal when his loan expires at the end of the term.
Per the Evening Standard, Soares believes he can compete at the Gunners for a regular spot.
Ben White has played at right-back most of this season, while Takehiro Tomiyasu faces a long layoff due to a knee injury.
With Tomiyasu out, Soares may want to see if he can impress boss Mikel Arteta in pre-season.
