It has been a couple of days since Chelsi Shikongo made history by being crowned Miss Namibia 2021. In 2020 the pageant was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Miss Namibia 2019 Nadja Breytenbach had to continue fulfilling her duties.
Chelsi’s endearing traits, beauty, and passion to become a beacon of hope and change the lives of many people have won the hearts of many people.
The model was crowned Miss Namibia 2021 on Saturday in a virtual show which was televised on NBC1 and Miss Namibia & NBC social media platforms. Her first runner became Annerie Maré and Michelle Mukuve became the second runner up.
Taking to her Instagram post, the beauty queen gushed about her dad saying when he named her Chelsi he knew the day of her crowning would come.
“My father knew this day would come giving me the name Chelsi. I truly believe in the power of Manifestation, Hardwork, and Prayer. MEDITATION also really helped me through a lot of days,” she wrote.
