Leon Balogun volleyed the Super Eagles into the lead in the first half before Victor Osimhen doubled their advantage just before the break.
Osimhen failed to add another goal, as he saw his effort blocked on the line.
With this win, Nigeria remain top of Group C with nine points from four games while CAR remain on four points
