Armed bandits reportedly attacked a residence in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital and abducted two persons. Details of the incident are still sketchy but according to friends on Facebook, the gunmen stormed the home of one Alhaji Aliyu Moriki located in the Tsunami area of Gusau on Sunday, May 9 and whisked the victims away. Governor Bello Matawalle has disclosed that there are 30,000 armed bandits in Zamfara and five other northern states.
