One person has been killed and 48 hoodlums arrested by the police in the mayhem that engulfed Mile 12 area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Thursday.   The State Police Command said it has restored normalcy in the area as it arrested 48 suspected hoodlums. Youths Attack Delta local Council Chairman, cart away rifles

The Chairman of Ethiope West council area of Delta State, Oghenedoro Owoso was on Tuesday May 4 attacked by some youths in Mosogar. The Nation reported that the council chairman was trying to pacify the youths who were protesting an eight-year blackout in the community when things took a different turn.
