Truck Falls and Spills Bullets Onto the Streets of Onitsha

A truck carrying live bullets fell down in Onitsha, Anambra State, and spilled it's contents onto the streets. The incident, it was gathered, occurred along Awka Road in the early hours of Sunday, May 9, causing panic and fear among residents. It was not clear where the truck came from, but it was said to be moving the live bullets out of Onitsha to a yet to be ascertained location. The driver of the truck, a Mercedes Benz 911, and his conductor sustained minor injuries after the truck lost control, skidded off the road and fell into a gutter, with its content spilling in the process. UNIPORT Confirms Death of Final Year student

The University of Port Harcourt has confirmed the death of a final year student identified as Gloria Adeleye. LIB reported that the 500-level student of the Department of Animal Science, slumped and died a few days after taking her first semester exams. It was gathered that Gloria finished her exams on Thursday, April 1, 2021, and left the school for her family residence. She was said to have slumped at home on Tuesday, April 6, and was rushed to hospital, where she died. The National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi in Esan Northeast Local Government Area of Edo State on Wednesday night, March 10, reportedly came under attack by unknown gunmen who also abducted yet-to-be-ascertained number of teachers and students. The kidnappers abducted the teachers and students after shooting sporadically.
