Real Madrid Star, Marcelo Caught Violating COVID-19 Rules, Faces fine

Real Madrid left-back, Marcelo, faces a fine for breaking the travel restrictions currently in place to halt the spread of COVID-19. This was decided after the Valencian regional government confirmed it had started investigating the Brazilian international on Monday. The confirmation came shortly after Marcelo posted a photo of himself and his family at the Malvarrosa beach in Valencia on social media. The current travel restrictions prohibit a resident in Madrid to leave the Comunidad de Madrid. All entry in the Comunidad Valenciana from other parts of Spain is also forbidden. Arsenal Receive Coutinho Transfer Boost

Arsenal’s hopes of finally signing Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho have received a boost. The Gunners were in hot pursuit of Coutinho but Ronald Koeman’s appointment at Barcelona put the brakes on a potential deal. Arsenal signed Coutinho’s Brazilian compatriot Willian instead before later bringing in Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid. The duo have gone some way to fixing Arsenal’s creativity problem, but Mikel Arteta could still use someone like Coutinho, and he may now have a chance of getting his man. Coutinho has not featured for Barcelona in recent months due to an injury and is yet to kick a ball for the Catalan giants in 2021. The midfielder is no longer a first-team regular in Spain, but crucially, is just 10 fixtures away from triggering a clause that will f...

We are in an intense period, and we have the opportunity now to change some players. “We’ve got now at least more sessions in the legs, so we thought it feels really well together, so that’s the plan behind it.
