Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi, has asked Nigerian youths longing to relocate to Canada to reconsider their plans and stay back to help make Nigeria a better place. According to him, youths should organize themselves on how to “kick out” the All Progressives Congress (APC) from office in 2023 if they are not satisfied with its governance style. A final year student of Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lorita Blessy Asimwe was killed after a church collapsed in Kampala. Asimwe was due to graduate on July 2, 2021, with a Bachelor of Human Resource Management, having sat for her final exams in January. The deceased suffered injuries when a ceiling of an auditorium collapsed on her and other congregants at the House of Rest Church at Fido Dido building in Kampala during lunch hour prayers on Monday, March 15. She breathed her last on Tuesday while at Mulago National Referral Hospital where she had been rushed for treatment after the incident. A dramatic scene was recorded in the mining town of Gwanda, Zimbabwe on Tuesday morning, February 23, when a suspected serial thief fell from the ceiling of a shopping complex during an operation. The suspect reportedly gained access to the shopping complex  at Emabhizeni along 4th Avenue through one of the shops' windows before using the ceiling to enter other shops to steal various goods. Young lady narrowly escapes death in Port Harcourt as stray bullet pierces through ceiling and hit her bed seconds after she got up

A young lady, Asele Daniel, narrowly escaped death in Port Harcourt after a stray bullet from nowhere pierced through the ceiling of her apartment and hit her bed moments after she got up.     Asele took to Facebook on Saturday, October 24, to share her testimony, thanking God for protecting her her life.   According to the entrepreneur, she was lying on the bed on Friday evening but got up moments before the incident happened.   "Immediately I moved out from the bed, this stray bullet from nowhere just bust the ceiling and fell directly on the bed. I give God all the praise for protecting my life," she said.

Snakes have been troubling residents in Bayelsa following an incident of torrential rainfall which has unsettled people. Part of the flooded areas While the people of Amassoma community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State are crying over massive flood which has ravaged most parts of their region, it has been gathered that the residents are also suffering from issue of snakes invading their homes. According to a Facebook user, the snakes are now invading the residences of the villages most especially hiding in the ceiling in the flooded area. Lagos Landlord Hangs Tenant’s Dog On The Ceiling (Photo)

According to a blog reader who sent this in, this happened at Sapade along Lagos-Ibadan Express way. A tenant moved into the building with his dog just two weeks ago. The landlord told the tenant that dogs were not allowed in his compound and told the tenant he should keep his dog within his rented apartment which as you all know is not possible. The tenant and the landlord argued about this for days and when he returned from work yesterday, he found his dog hanging from the building's ceiling. It was dead. Other tenants testified seeing the landlord around the dog owners apartment earlier in the day but who do you report something like this to? Sad!
