Ten Nigerian athletes have been ruled ineligible to participate at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Japan by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), reducing the country’s hope of clinching more medals at the event. The athletes were said to have failed to meet the minimum testing requirements under Rule 15 of the Anti-Doping Rules for ‘Category A’ federations. The Chairman of Udala FC, Philip Udala, has been assassinated.   Udala was murdered by unknown gunmen who attacked his convoy in Eke-Agu community in Idemili North Local government area of Anambra state on Tuesday night, July 13.
