The Police in Borno State have arrested the shooter of Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa of Nigeria Church (EYN) members. The name of the culprit is Baba Bukar, a member of a joint security team, a government official said. The source told DAILY POST that Bukar fired the bullets that hit church worshippers during a clash with Borno Geographical Information System (BOGIS) officials last Thursday. “He has been in custody of Borno Police Command since the governor directed an investigation into the matter.” He confirmed that all is being done to make peace with the families of the victims and the church.
