Kaduna: KEDC bans relocation of meters

The Kaduna Electric on Wednesday, said it has banned the relocation of metres by customers who moved from one building to another. It warned customers who are in the habit of removing metres any time they want to relocate to a different place to desist from such act. A statement by Head of Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, said customers who wish to relocate to a new environment after they have purchased and fixed in their former house, should notify the company before doing so. Hackers steal nearly $100m of cryptocurrency in Japan heist

Liquid, a top Japanese cryptocurrency exchange platform has been hit by hackers, with almost $100m (£73m) now estimated to have been stolen. The company announced that some of its digital currency wallets have been "compromised" making it the second major theft of cryptocurrencies to take place recently. Last week, digital token platform Poly Network was at the centre of a $600m heist. 'Warm' or 'hot' digital wallets are usually based online and designed to allow crypto users to access their cryptocurrencies more easily, while 'cold' wallets are offline and harder to access and therefore usually more secure. A tragic incident occurred on Thursday morning in Italy's Lodi province as two people were killed after a high-speed train derailed. The accident which also left 28 people injured occurred in the town of Casalpusterlengo, some 30 miles southeast of Milan.
