Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba, throws shade at Tope Alabi after she condemned Yinka Alaseyori’s song, Oniduromi

Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba, threw shade at Tope Alabi after she condemned Yinka Alaseyori's song, Oniduromi. Last week, Tope at a church programme faulted the song, Oniduro mi, saying God cannot be described as Oniduro mi. The song which is sung in Yoruba describes God as a Guarantor. Speaking at an event over the weekend, Lanre who did not hide his disdain for Tope Alabi, questioned the names she is also known in using to describe God. He offered a prayer in Yoruba saying " Anyone that needs to say the wrong thing for my glory to shine, may that person speak" Yinka who was present at the event looked shocked as he spoke. During a music ministration at a church recently, Tope publicly condemned the song, saying God cannot be described as ''Oniduro'' which in Yoruba means My Guarantor. She has received serious backlash from many persons including celebrities who felt it was wrong of her to condemn the song. Sean is of the opinion that Yoruba actors who have benefited immensely from Tope Alabi's ministration are not supposed to be seen shading her for something which he himself recognizes as a goof on Tope's part. Fred Attacked after Man Utd’s 3-1 Defeat to Leicester City

  Manchester United midfielder, Fred, was the target of racist trolls on social media, following their 3-1 defeat at Leicester City on Sunday. Fred’s error led to Kelechi Iheanacho making it 1-0 for the hosts. The Brazilian was then brushed aside by Youri Tielemans, who made it 2-1 after Mason Greenwood equalized for United. After the game, Fred’s Instagram account was filled with comments racial in nature. The Brazil international is one of several United players to be subjected to abuse in recent weeks. Marcus Rashford posted a statement about comments directed at him in late January, while Anthony Martial and Axel Tuanzebe were also targeted. Manchester United have previously condemned abuse directed at their players by “mindless idiots”.

Pope Francis Reacts to the Death of George Floyd

Pope Francis has reacted to the death of George Floyd. "We cannot tolerate or turn a blind eye to racism," the pontiff said on Wednesday, June 3, in reaction to the killing of George Floyd by US police that has sparked nationwide protests. The leader of the Roman Catholic Church however, condemned the violence that followed George Floyd's death as "self-destructive and self-defeating." He said: "Nothing is gained by violence and so much is lost." Pope Francis said he was praying for Floyd and "all those others who have lost their lives as a result of the sin of racism."
