Real Madrid ready for Hazard-Salah swap with Liverpool

Real Madrid are considering an audacious move for Liverpool’s Mo Salah, that will see them part with Eden Hazard and cash, ESPN reports. The LaLiga giants have long been admirers of Salah, who is still involved in a contract standoff with the Reds. Madrid could look to tempt Liverpool with a player-plus-cash swap deal involving former Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard. Hazard has struggled since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2019. His first two seasons were plagued by injuries and this campaign, the Belgian has been in and out of Carlo Ancelotti’s team. He is yet to register a goal in eight appearances so far. Madrid are ready to let Hazard leave and are eyeing Salah as his replacement. It could be difficult though for Los Blancos to tempt Liverpool to sell Salah, wh...

I thought Messi’s move to PSG was a joke – Pochettino

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has admitted the club’s sporting director, Leonardo was playing a joke on him, when he informed him that signing Lionel Messi was possible. Messi joined PSG as a free agent on August 10, days after Barcelona confirmed the 34-year-old was leaving. “Leonardo called me and said: ‘The possibility is there. Would you like it or not?’ The good thing is that he called me to ask. I said to myself: ‘Is it a question?’ I thought it was a joke, no? Of course,” Pochettino said. “I told him: ‘Do we have to go and get him? Do I have to drive the van?’ And that is when the negotiation started. From then on Leonardo would call me every night to tell me how the situation was.” Messi, 34, had agreed a new five-year contract with Barca, with his...

Mbappe offered €225million deal to reject Real Madrid

PSG are offering Kylian Mbappe a deal worth a stunning €225million to snub a move to Real Madrid. Mbappe is into the final months of his current contract with the Ligue 1 giants. The 22-year-old remains a top target for Madrid’s President, Florentino Perez. Perez tried to land Mbappe in the summer and saw two huge bids ignored by PSG. He is now willing to try again for the France forward in January. At the moment, Mbappe has not shown a willingness to agree fresh terms with PSG. Okdiario’s football chief Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed: “They will give him 45 million net per season, which amounts to 225 million.” If he accepts the deal, Mbappé would become the highest paid player above Lionel Messi or Neymar.

Pogba’s current contract with Man United will expire next summer. The France international is yet to sign a new deal with Man United. And Scholes believes Man United should offer Pogba a new long-term deal if he can show the form for his club that he does with his country’s national team. “Everybody is a little bit unsure because he doesn’t do it week in and week out,” Scholes told the Webby and O’Neil Show. “I think there is a big debate. You would probably say half of the people want him, the other half would not be that bothered if he went. “I think the middle of the pitch is a little bit of a problem for us. If he is on song an...

Messi now plays for Paris Saint-Germain in France, after joining the club on a free transfer in the summer. The 34-year-old left Nou Camp because Barca, whose gross debt is close to €1.4 billion, could not afford to renew his contract.
