Nigerian LGBTQ activist, Pamela Adie has reacted to the death of leader and founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, TB Joshua. In a Facebook post she shared, Adie claimed that the charismatic pastor/televangelist died while on his way to the hospital while many camped at his church waiting for him to heal them. She also stated that while many might feel the impact of his death, she is indifferent about it because according to her, TB Joshua 'caused a lot of harm to many people especially LGBTQ folks who he conducted 'conversion' therapy on, which she also claimed never worked.' Ondo State Govt Retrieves Three Vehicles From Former Deputy Governor

The Ondo State Government has retrieved three vehicles in the custody of the immediate past Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi. The vehicles include a Toyota Landcruiser Jeep, V8, 2019 model and two Toyota Hilux vans also of 2019 model. The State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, April 26, said while efforts are on to recover any other remaining vehicle(s) still in possession of the former Deputy Governor, Government expresses gratitude to the security agencies, especially the Police, for the most-needed intervention. Two Nigerian Men Convert to Islam in Libya

Two Nigerian Christians have converted to Islam in Libya. The conversion took place on Saturday, April 7 in Kilka town, about 150 kilometres south-west of the country's capital, Tripoli. It would be recalled that two Nigerian women working as housemaids also converted to Islam last Wednesday, April 14. The report, like the previous one, attracted varying comments on social media. The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has received final approvals for its ongoing conversion from a mutual, member-owned company to a public limited liability company, paving the way for the public listing and trading of the shares of the Exchange in the nearest future. Nigeria’s apex capital market regulator, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the regulatory body for corporate affairs, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) gave the final approvals for the conversion, otherwise known as demutualisation. The Rivers state government on Wednesday May 13, announced the conversion of the demolished hotel site to a primary school following the alleged death of one of the members of the state's Taskforce on COVID-19 who were allegedly attacked by hoodlums at the facility. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted a bench warrant for the arrest of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Akwa Ibom State, Uwemedimo Nwoko, the Commissioner of Finance, Nsikan Nkan, the Accountant General,Mfon Udomah and a Cashier of the State Government, Margaret Ukpe. Banks Lose N12.06bn to Fraud in Six Months, Says CBN

  The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has revealed that commercial banks in the country lost a total of N12.06 billion to fraud and forgeries in the first six months of 2018. This is just as the banking sector regulator revealed that as of June 2018, three commercial banks did not have the prescribed minimum liquidity ratio of 30 per cent. The CBN disclosed this in its ‘Draft 2018 Half Year Economic Report’ that was posted on its website Thursday.
