Man hangs himself in Kwara over alleged impotence

A 22-year-old man identified as Idris Shuaib has allegedly committed suicide after he hung himself on a tree on his father’s farm at Gwanara in the Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State. NSCDC reacts to video of ‘officer’ confessing to being bandit

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has dismissed a viral video purporting that a member of the corps confessed to being a bandit. In the viral video, the suspected bandit, Mr Abdullah Saidu, called himself personnel of the corps. This is contained in a statement issued by the NSCDC spokesperson, Mr Olusola Odumosu, in Abuja. Three FRSC officials have died after they were struck by lightning in Ogun State.   The board of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has approved the promotion of eight Corps Commanders (CC) and 12 Deputy Corps Commanders (DCC).The approval was made at the board meeting on Friday.
