EPL: Herrera hails Tuchel for Rescuing two Chelsea players from Lampard

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Ander Herrera, has given Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, credit for saving the careers of two players in his squad since taking over from former coach, Frank Lampard in January. The players are Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso. Rudiger and Alonso had fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge towards the end of Lampard’s reign as manager. Both players came back into the reckoning after Tuchel replaced Lampard and proceeded to help Chelsea win the Champions League and finish fourth in the Premier League last season. “I simply thought that this is football, that eight months before, we lost the same final with him [Thomas Tuchel] in the dugout,” Herrera told Marca. “This showed that this game is a mystery, and no other spo...

The Welshman fell out of favour during Zinedine Zidane's second spell in charge and ended up returning to Spurs on loan in 2020-21, but he is now back at Real for the final year of his contract and says he is enjoying a new lease of life with Ancelott...

The players are Christian Pulisic, Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta. Cascarino believes Tuchel needs to be credited with getting the best out of his current squad and for his decision-making in the summer transfer market. Tuchel has transformed Chelsea since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, taking a disjointed set of talented players and creating a unit that gets the best out of the collective squad. Fela has no co-creator of Afrobeat

Of recent, considerable confusion was created by some misinformed commentators whose misguided enthusiasm has led to the propagation of a mistaken notion that Afrobeat was somehow “co-created” by a prominent drummer who performed with Fela for many years. The least that can be said is that this kind of erroneous belief can only arise from a lack of true understanding of the amazing phenomenon known as Afrobeat, the advent of which may be said to have opened up an entirely new chapter in African-derived music. There can be no doubt that Afrobeat came about as a result of Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s inimitable vision, stunning originality, amazing energy, and wonderful creativity. As for the absurd notion that anyone else qualifies to be credited as a ‘co-creator’ of Afrobeat simply by vi...

OPEC Cuts, Stable Equity Markets Push Oil Price to $58

Crude oil prices climbed for a fifth session in a row to hit $58 yesterday, rallying from last December 2018’s 18-month low, thanks to the production cuts by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and more stable equity markets. Oil has gained nearly 12 per cent since last Monday, its biggest week-on-week rally since early December 2016. While the global benchmark, Brent crude oil was up $1 at $58.06 per barrel, having touched a session high of $58.90, the United States crude was up 88 cents at $48.84 a barrel. It was like, ‘You could do...

Heidi Klum Makes Statement On Weinstein As His Project Runway Credit Is Revoked

Weinstein was involved in so many projects and business dealings and thankfully a lot of those are now falling through.
