Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to arrest armed Fulani herdsmen especially Miyetti Allah leaders same way IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested. Ortom who disclosed that Kanu was arrested in a foreign land, alleged that Miyetti Allah have allegedly admitted carrying out violent attacks in Benue state. Kidnappers Kill Kaduna Businessman after Collecting N5m Ransom

The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested five members of a kidnap syndicate, who allegedly killed their victim after collecting N5m ransom from his family. Spokesperson of the command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, February 24, said the kidnap syndicate had abducted one Alhaji Ahmadu, a Kaduna resident last December. The suspects were said to have contacted the victim's brother, who subsequently paid a total of N5 million to secure the release of Ahmadu. A Nigerian man identified as Ebuka Udugbo has been allegedly killed by the South African police. This is according to a report by the president, Nigerian Citizens Association South Africa (NICASA), Ben Okoli, who made the confirmation of the Ebuka’s death to NAN.
