Jack Grealish Accused Of ‘Embarrassing’ Dive In Aston Villa’s Controversial Loss To West Ham

Jack Grealish was accused of an 'embarrassing' dive during Aston Villa's 2-1 loss against West Ham on Monday night. Once again most people were left talking about VAR after West Ham's win, with Ollie Watkins late equaliser ruled out by the video officials by the barest of all margins. However, Grealish, who scored Villa's equaliser before Jarrod Bowen's winner, was also at the centre of some controversy, which spilled out into the manager's technical areas. In the second half the England international won a free-kick after a clash with Pablo Fornals, but the 25-year-old's delayed reaction caused outrage from fans on Twitter. There was tension between the two benches during the game as well, with both assistant managers getting booked for an argument, that it...

I Can Finally Dive Again – Uzoho Happy To Be Back On His Feet After Injury

Francis Uzoho is elated to return to full training again after spending time on the sidelines due to a knee ligament injury. Uzoho picked up the injury in Nigeria’s friendly clash against the Selecao of Brazil in October 2019. The young goalkeeper was stretchered off after the hour mark and missed the rest of the campaign as a result of the setback. “WOW, I can finally dive again IN CHRIST ALONE,” he wrote on his Twitter handle. The 21-year-old joined Cypriot club APOEL from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna last month. He spent last season on loan at another Cypriot club Omonia.

Amaechi Okobi dives underwater in a suit to mark his 50th birthday

Amaechi Okobi turns 50 today and he shared photos of himself taken underwater to mark his golden jubilee. The marketing communication expert can be seen fully clad in a suit as he dived underwater. In his caption, he thanked God for life and reflected on what it's like turning 50. He wrote: Goodness. Old. Am. Years. My. Fifty. Oh. I. By themselves those simple words are not particularly remarkable. When you put them together, however, and do some repositioning, everything changes. What you have now is a weighty sentence that is loaded with thousands of different interpretations. Ok, maybe not ‘thousands,’ but a hell of a lot. Oh my goodness, I am fifty years old! Joy... Relief... Excitement... Gratitude... Fear... Trepidation... Regret... Failure. The ...

Sprinter Wins Gold After Diving Across Finish Line

In a desperate lunge at the finish line, Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas won the women’s 400 meters at the Rio Olympics on Monday night, defeating Allyson Felix of the United States. Running in Lane 7 and leading down the stretch, Miller apparently could sense that Felix was closing fast on the inside. With four strides remaining, Miller then dived towards the finish line. The maneuver actually may have slightly slowed Miller, 22, as she began to put less force into the ground to propel herself forward. Still, Miller’s torso crossed first, as required by the rules, and she took the gold medal in 49.44 seconds, her personal best. Miller’s dive was clearly a move of desperation. And it’s completely legal.
