The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, arraigned 82-year-old Chief Olagoke Samson Amoo-Onidundu for alleged land fraud. Chief Amoo-Onidundu, who claims to be the Baale of Onidundu area of Akinyele, Oyo state. was arraigned before Justice Iyabo Yerima of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan, for allegedly obtaining the sum of two million Naira from Oluwagbemi Ashaolu. A Kenyan woman, Margaret Wandia, has been docked before Kibera Law Courts for allegedly beating up her husband’s ex-wife. Wandia is accused of beating up and injuring Jane Wawira after she went to collect her personal belongings and those of her children at her former husband’s house in Kangemi, Nairobi, on May 14. Wawira had telephoned her ex-husband and they agreed she was at liberty to visit and collect her clothes and children’s books among other items but he was not home when she arrived. The two women picked a quarrel after Wandia reportedly refused to open the room where their man had locked Wawira’s belongings. The quarrel turned ugly and Wandia allegedly beat up Wawira. Three members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) were on Wednesday docked before Chief Magistrate Olaide Hamzat of the Oyo State Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Iyaganku in Ibadan over allegations of murder and arson. A huge yacht reportedly belonging to singer Marc Anthony is on fire in Miami. The 120ft boat is seen in flames while docked at Watson Island in Florida, and according to US media reports its owned by Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband. The 51-year-old singer is believed to be in Puerto Rico on the final date of his OPUS tour. Local sources have said that the 120-foot Andiamo, which had had firefighters racing to stop the inferno from spreading to nearby boats, belongs to the Latin singer. A Federal High Court in Kano State on Wednesday granted bail to Nuriani Adamu, son of former governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Adamu.   The governor’s son was arraigned alongside one Felix Onyago over alleged N32 million money laundering.     The counsel to the prosecution, Douglas Gift, told the court presided over by Justide Daggard that the defendants allegedly conspired to commit the offence in 2014.   Gift said that in the same year, Adamu allegedly transferred N32 million on several occasions to Onyago’s bank account in Kano. Maryam Sanda, Mother, Brother Docked For Allegedly Murdering Ex-PDP Chairman’s Son

The Nigerian Police Force on Thursday arraigned Maryam Sanda; her mother, Maimuna Aliyu; her brother, Aliyu Sanda; and a fourth defendant, Sadiya Aminu for alleged murder. Mrs. Sanda is the daughter-in-law of a former Peoples Democratic Party chairman, Mohammed Bello. She was accused of killing her husband, Biliyanu Bello, over allegations of infidelity. They had been married for two years, before the incident occurred in November. On Thursday, Mrs. Sanda’s mother, Maimuna, who is also facing a separate charge of fraud, was arraigned with her daughter along side two others. According to the new charge, the defendants are accused of culpable homicide and obstruction of justice.
