Sheikh Gumi blames Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho for ‘Fulani debacle’ in Southeast

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, has blamed the “Fulani debacle” in Southern Nigeria on pro-agitators, Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho. Gumi said the kidnap incidents linked to some criminal elements among Fulanis residing in the Southwest, for which Igboho banked on to issue an eviction notice, is not sufficient reason to call for Nigeria’s break up.
