A bungalow in the Mounted Troop Police Barracks in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday, partially collapsed and killed one Peace Bulus and broke the arm of her sister. No fewer than 3 persons have been confirmed dead in a gas explosion that occured at the Sabon Tasha area in Kaduna state today Saturday January 4th. The gas station located by the main road opposite Total Filling station, at the ever busy Sabon Tasha exploded at about 1pm. The explosion shattered the bodies of those who lost their lives in the incident. Security operatives were seen packing body parts which littered the road. An eyewitness, Philip Kambai, who escaped the blast, said “I just finished cutting my hair and was walking out then I heard boom! I fell down but I managed to get up. Then I saw fire. Three people have been injured after a flat "exploded" in a suspected gas blast in south London.   At about 7 am this morning, there were reports of a gas explosion at Garratt Lane, Wandsworth. Emergency services rushed to the scene at about 7.25am after receiving reports of the incident.   An eyewitness wrote on Twitter: "Huge explosion on corner of Garratt Lane Burntwood Lane. A yet to be identified man was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Ikorodu, Lagos state today February 8th. A staff today slumped and dies at the Lagos airport, and the slow response of emergency ambulance was fingered as being slow to respond. A yet-to-be identified staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) slumped and died, this morning, at the Lagos airport. According to reports by an eyewitness, the deceased hit his head against the floor during the fall and some travelers who were medical experts, tried resuscitating for over 5 minutes, but eventually lost him.
