A Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia has dismissed a suit filed against the Spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu over allegations of forgery. One Okey Ezeala had filed a suit against the rep member, alleging name forgery on his academic certifications, he had claimed there was a name discrepancy in the certificates of the legislator. Man Arraigned for allegedly forging documents to stand as surety for Ex-Air Chief, Adesola Amosu

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, July 13, arraigned one Jamiu Jimmy Ajose on a three-count charge bordering on forgery, possession of forged documents and making false statements to an officer of the EFCC before Justice Chukwujekwu of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Apo has ordered a Yahoo boy, Edwin Ogbomwan (aka Thomas Jerry Stars), to forfeit iPhone X and car, a Toyota Camry 2006 model the Federal Government. Justice D. Senchi also sentenced the convict  to two months in prison with the option of paying N1m fine. The convict, who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, was found guilty of Internet fraud.
