My COVID-19 Test Centre Awaiting Approval Of Health Ministry – Akin Alabi

The house of representatives member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency, Hon. Akin Alabi has revealed that he is awaiting the approval of the ministry of health to build his own COVID-19 test centre in the state. Akin Alabi, who disclosed while speaking on Fresh FM COVID-19 situation room program, stated that his decision to build a test centre was necessitated by the need to increase testing in the state. He said, “The governor is making progress, making people to resume is negative because if you are doing well by trying to increase testing but still pushing people out which is going to increase the risk. SERAP Gives Ajimobi 7-Day Ultimatum To Repair Ayefele’s Building

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, (SERAP) has issued a 7-day ultimatum to Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State to repair the demolished part of the Yinka Ayefeye’s N800 million music house or be ready or be ready to face legal action. SERAP also called on Ajimobi to immediately halt all further eviction and demolition of Fresh FM building and to show full respect for the safety and dignity of residents and owner of Fresh FM. “We also urge you to immediately begin repairs of the Fresh FM building and to adequately compensate the radio station and its owner and publicly guarantee non-repetition,” it said. NBC Condemns Demolition Of Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh FM By Oyo Govt

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has condemned the demolition of the structure housing the Fresh FM in Ibadan by the Oyo State Government. The Director-General of NBC, Ishaq Midibbo-Kawu, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin, said the demolition was a worrisome development and did not speak well of the state government. The structure, “Music House, ” reportedly valued at N800 million and which had been in operation for 10 years, was demolished in the early hours of Sunday. Yinka Ayefele’s popular structure, The Music House, where Fresh FM 105.9, one of Ibadan’s most lovely radio stations is located, has been marked for demolition. The demolition notice pasted on the structure at Lagos Bye Pass, Challenge, Ibadan, on the orders of the Oyo State Government gave the owners of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk it’s removal by the government.
