Again, secondary school students clash in Osogbo

Some students of Osogbo Grammar School on Wednesday allegedly disrupted learning activities at another school in Osogbo and left some mates injured. It was gathered that around 1 pm on Wednesday, some students of Osogbo grammar school stormed the Government Technical College Osogbo and unleashed mayhem. Operatives of the Department of Security Services (DSS), police and men of Amotekun was sighted at the Technical school when DAILY POST visited the school. Efforts to get the reaction of the school principal failed as he denied interview with journalists. Principal Apologizes For Flogging Female Corps Member In Akwa Ibom State

Friday Udoaka, the Principal of Government Technical College, Abak, Akwa Ibom State, has apologized for flogging a female corps member in the school, Olaitan Adeola Kolawole.   Udoaka apologized at the NYSC state office, yesterday, in Uyo. He said he did not deliberately flog Kolawole, noting that he used the cane on her out of anger. The victim was said to have written the name of her friend, Dolapo Victoria in the attendance register of the school on Friday, October 19, 2018, when Dolapo was absent. Principal Flogs Corps Member In Akwa Ibom (Photos)

A corps member has been mercilessly flogged by one Deacon Friday Udoka, the principal of her PPA, the Government Technical College in Abak, Akwa Ibom State. According to reports, the assault was because the lady, Kolawole Olaitan Adeola, helped her friend write her name in the attendance register of the college, on Friday, October 19, 2018. The principal was said to have flogged her in his office before dragging her outside to continue the flogging in the presence of students. Udoka then proceeded to notify the NYSC Local Government Inspector that he no longer needs her in the school.

FG To Begin Skills Acquisition Program In 18 States

The Federal Government says it will begin skill acquisition training in 18 states across the six-political zone of the federation in March. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen.
