Two newlywed graduates of Ekiti State University have gone viral after their before and now photos were shared online. The couple, who recently got married, used to go to night classes together to read when they were still undergraduates. One photo shows them with their books open in front of them and two candles providing light. The woman has her eyes on her book in the photo while the man has his arms around her. NYSC should be for two years, one year for military training and the other year for social works – Governor Ishaku

Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba state has said that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme should be a two-year programme. Ishaku stated in an interview on Channels Television, that there is need for members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to undergo military training following increased insecurity in the country. The Governor added that he believes an extension of the duration would better equip graduates with self-defence techniques especially at a time like this when national insecurity is now rife.
