Security Forces Arrest another IPOB/ESN Henchman

The Second in Command to the neutralized IPOB/ESN militant leader Ikonso, Awurum Eze, has been arrested by security operatives in Aba, Abia State. A statement released by the director of Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Yerima, states that the 48-years-old Awurum Eze, a native of Umoneke Nta, Isiala-Mbano LGA, Imo State, had on the 4th of May 2021 escaped when operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) stormed his village house in Isiala Mbano where he was hiding. IPOB Names Imo Government House After ESN Slain Commander, Ikonso

The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has named the Imo State Government House at Douglas road, Owerri, after Ikonso, the commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) allegedly killed by security agencies. The group which announced this in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said Douglas Road Owerri and Awomamma Junction would also be named after the late Commander. It explained the decision which was with immediate effect, was one of the ways its members and Biafrans globally wished to immortalise the fallen leader and his men. The ruling All Progressives Congress has warned Nigerian youths to not allow themselves to be used as tools in a war against any tribe or community in Nigeria.
