Two dead, seven injured as car rams into roadside passengers

Two persons died on Saturday as a Toyota Sienna car rammed into commuters at Kudigbe, along Arigbajo, on the Lagos-Abeokuta highway, Ogun State. DAILY POST learnt that seven persons also sustained injuries in the crash. Babatunde Akinbiyi, Spokesperson, Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), confirmed that road crash occurred around 7:30 on Saturday morning. According to Akinbiyi, the sienna marked KRD 900 GV, had hit a Ford car, registered as AAB 439 XB and a tricycle, with number plate, AKM 791 VP. He blamed the incident on excessive speeding and loss of control on the part of the Sienna driver. The women were at the summit of Snowdon in Wales when a freak storm hit the region yesterday afternoon, July 28.
