Tottenham’s Hotspur Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor has been called off after heavy snowfall in the north-west. The decision was taken to postpone the game after officials deemed it too dangerous due to the ‘adverse weather conditions’. Snow coated the Turf Moor pitch last night and today morning, despite the best efforts of the ground staff to make it playable. However, the pitch failed an inspection less than an hour before kick-off on Sunday. Meanwhile, Tottenham are in 7th position on the Premier League table with 19 points from 12 games. Burnley on the other hand, are in the 18th position with 9 points from the same number of games.
