You Can’t Benefit from Gulak’s Assassination – Gov Uzodimma tells FFK; he Replies

The Imo state governor, Hope Uzodimma, has accused former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode,  of looking for ways to benefit from the murder of former presidential aide, Ahmed Gulak, in Owerri, the Imo state capital on Sunday, May 30. Recall that FFK in a series of tweets posted this morning asked the governor certain questions about the murder of Mr. Gulak. Responding, Uzodinma in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, said that the way and manner FFK jumped into the story of Gulak’s murder, showed he was all about 'making capital from it.' The statement in part reads “From the look of things, it seems former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode wants to make capital of the unfortunate gruesome murder of former Political Adviser to for...

“You Lack Jurisdiction to Remove from Office a man who Does not hold Office.” – Trump’s lawyers tell US Senate Amid Impeachment trial

US House impeachment managers on Tuesday filed their memorandum for the Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, laying out claims that he committed impeachable offenses and must be barred from running for federal office again. They say Trump incited the attack when his efforts to overturn the presidential election failed. "President Trump's responsibility for the events of January 6 is unmistakable," they write in the 80-page document, stating that his "abuse of office threatened and injured our democratic order." "His conduct endangered the life of every single member of Congress, jeopardized the peaceful tr...

Police Take Parrot Into Custody After It Tries To Help Drug Dealers

A parrot has been taken into custody by the police after he almost jeopardized a police raid by tipping off drug dealers to the presence of police. The parrot, who plays lookout for two crack-dealing suspects, repeatedly yelled "Mamãe, polícia!" meaning "Mama, police!" when it saw police officers moving to raid the hideout. According to Brazilian police in the state of Piauí, they encountered the unnamed parrot at the home of the two alleged crack cocaine dealers, perched inside a small brick one-story home with a windowless facade. Brazil’s R7 news channel reported that as police searched for the suspects, it seemed the lime-green bird knew exactly what to do. One officer involved in the operation said: "He must have been trained for this. As soon as the police got close he sta...
