‘Cattle traders’ kidnapped and killed a man 10 days to his wedding – Police

The Kwara state police command has accused some cattle traders of kidnapping and killing a man who wanted to buy a cow from them for his wedding. Police spokesperson in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the arrest of the alleged leader of gang, Mohammed Kazeem, in Patigi, Patigi Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday April 21. Mr Kazeem was alleged to have collected N160,000 from the man Olokose Oluwasola Ojo, to get him a cow for his wedding scheduled for March 12 and 13 this year. Security operatives were alerted after Ojo's fiancee received a phone call from his line demanding for N12 million ransom if she hoped to see him again. Two Men Exposed After Buying Human Skulls From Cemetery Worker In Lagos

Three men were on Wednesday brought before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, over alleged possession of two human skulls, NAN reports. The defendants, Olanrewaju, 27; Kazeem, 38; and Salami, 43, are facing two counts of conspiracy and unlawful possession of human parts. They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. The Prosecutor, Sgt. Modupe Olaluwoye, told the court that the defendants committed the offences at 6.00 pm on November 21, 2019, along Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos. She told the court that the second and third defendants were caught in possession of two human skulls in a black nylon, which they had earlier claimed contained biscuits. FRSC Promotes 1,925 Personnel, Assistant Corps Marshal

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, has approved the promotion of the Zonal Commanding Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Charge of Zone RS3HQ, Assistant Corps Marshal Abubakar Ringim, to the rank of the Deputy Corps Marshal. In a statement made available to the press by the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, Boss Mustapha had equally approved the promotion of 298 officers of the Corps. The officers promoted include: 33 Chief Route Commanders, 34 Superintendant Route Commanders, 93 Route Commanders, and 137 Deputy Route Commanders. A Nigerian, Emmanuel Oluwatosin Kazeem, accused of obtaining more than 125,000 stolen taxpayer identities from across the United States has been convicted in federal court in Oregon. He was found guilty on 19 counts of mail and wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. A jury in Medford returned the verdicts Friday against Emmanuel Oluwatosin Kazeem, 34, who lived most recently in Bowie, Maryland. Prosecutors say Kazeem bought over 91,000 of the identities from a Vietnamese hacker who got into a database belonging to an Oregon company called CICS Employment Services. The Federal Road Safety Corps has called for the arrest and prosecution of those involved in the recent shooting of two of its officials in Abia. The Public Education Officer and spokesman of the Corps, Mr Bisi Kazeem, made the call on Tuesday while reacting to the reported dismissal of a Police Corporal, Iroh Orji, over the incident. Orji, who was an orderly to the Speaker of Abia House of Assembly, allegedly pulled the trigger on the FRSC officials at their duty post on July 15. Some officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, caught in the video struggling with a driver on the steering, have been summoned to the national headquarters of the corps in Abuja for investigation.
