Bandits Kill Seven in Kaduna

Armed bandits have killed seven people in the last 72 hours in Chikun, Kajuru and Giwa local government areas of Kaduna State. It was also gathered that four of the 26 victims kidnapped by bandits at Ungwan Madaki in Kakau, Chikun LG, on June 18, 2021, were killed after their families failed to pay ranson. It was also learnt that after killing the four victims, the bandits informed the families to go and carry the bodies which they had dumped by the roadside at Tsohon Gaya. The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incidents in a statement on Saturday, July 3, said the developments were reported to the state government by security agencies on Friday. Body of six-year-old girl ‘kidnapped by her dad’ is found in bag 3,000ft below sea level

Police have confirmed that the body of a little girl found in a bag 3,000ft below sea off Tenerife, Spain is a missing six-year-old kidnapped by her dad. Olivia Gimeno was identified after an autopsy was carried out on a body found inside a sports bag on the seabed near Port of Guimar, Spain. Spanish rescuers found the bag tied down to an anchor 1,000m below the surface. The hunt for the Olivia's younger sister, Anna, 1 (pictured below) is still ongoing. The Ogun State Police Command has paraded the suspected kidnappers of students of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ayetoro campus and a community leader, Chief Tajudeen Omotayo, The two female students of OOU were abducted on March 14, 2021, at their hostel while Chief Omotayo was kidnapped on his way from a meeting in Ijebu-Ode on March 20.He was later released after undisclosed amount was paid to the kidnappers.
