The police in Imo state has arrested a syndicate that specializes in kidnapping and child trafficking. 19-year-old, other youths arrested in FCT for kidnapping

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested 19-year-old Abdul Alhassan and four other suspected kidnappers. Alhassan and Lawal Abdullahi, 25, were arrested in connection with kidnappings in the Tunga-Maje area of the FCT, while Usman Musa, 20; Bello Musa, 21; and Haruna Alhassan, 22, were said to be members of a notorious syndicate of kidnappers abducting people in the Tungan-Maje, Bwari and Kwali-Kuje areas of Abuja. Operation Akpakwu arrests kidnappers in Cross River, demolishes houses and shrine

The Cross River State Government Security Outfit "Operation Akpakwu" has arrested some kidnappers and demolished houses in Akpabuyo Akpabuyo local government area of the state and Satelite Town in Calabar The suspects arrested are identified as Etinyin Akamba Eyo, a.k.a 30:30, who is the Clan Head of Ikot Atambi in Akpabuyo, his son and wife. His two houses and shrine where kidnappers and militants were being fortified at Akpabuyo, were demolished by the security outfit during the arrest.
