Group condemns violence on Fulani communities in Kwara

A group, Gan-Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria, GAFDAN, Kwara State chapter, has condemned the violence ignited in Fulani communities in Oke-Ero and Omu-Aran towns in Kwara state last week. In a phone chat with DAILY POST in Ilorin on Sunday, chairman of the association, Alhaji Ali Mohammed Jonwuro, described the unwarranted attacks on Fulanis as unacceptable. A 30-year-old Nigerian accused of being a kingpin of a drug peddling racket, was arrested on Friday, by Kullu Police, Himachal Pradesh. The accused identified as Ugochukwu John Obiako allegedly supplied drugs and cocaine in large amounts to local drug peddlers in Kullu, police said. Barely a month after his escape from Owerri High court, notorious kidnap kingpin ,Henry Chibueze alias Vampire has been killed by the Police Special Force led by the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT) . He was gunned down at about 1am today, during a gun battle with the IGP Intelligence Response Team in Omu Awa Forest,Ikwerre L.G.A. Rivers State.
