NAFDAC Shuts Food Manufacturing Company Over Revalidation of Expired Curry and Thyme Products

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has shut down a food manufacturing company for allegedly revalidating expired curry and thyme spices. Following a tip-off, operatives of the Investigation and Enforcement Directorate of NAFDAC stormed the main warehouse and factory of Every Rose Limited, manufacturers of SomGeo brand of spices. The visit allegedly led to the discovery that large quantities of expired curry and thyme spices were stored in the warehouse with packaging materials, labels as well as stamps that were being used to illegally revalidate the already expired products. Jurgen Klopp Labels Liverpool’s Critics ‘Idiots’ After Chelsea Win Keeps Title Dreams Alive

Jurgen Klopp was in bullish mood after watching Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield as he called critics of his team ‘idiots’. A Sadio Mane header and Mohamed Salah wonder-goal from outside the box ensured that Liverpool won against Chelsea to return to the top of the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City. Although Liverpool are now two points clear of City, Pep Guardiola’s side will retain the title if they win their remaining five Premier League matches of the season as they have a game in hand over the league leaders. Should Liverpool miss out on an inaugural Premier League title by such fine margins, people will inevitably pick out games in which they dropped points as key moments that helped to define the title race. Klopp, however, insisted that such an exer...

The business of fairly-used female underwear now enjoy high patronage among the womenfolk in Umuahia, Abia. Some of the women, mainly middle-aged, who shoved themselves around to enable them pick their choice of the underwear at Isi Gate Market, Umuahia, told NAN that they preferred the “okrika’’, especially pants, to new ones. One of them, who made selections of different colours and designs, said she and most women now preferred the fairly-used underwear often imported from abroad. Asked if she was not ashamed being seen buying the materials, the lady who pleaded anonymity, queried why she should be ashamed of her choice of u...

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Lawyer Labels Rape Accusation As ‘Complete Fabrication’ In Latest Statement

Cristiano Ronaldo's new Las Vegas lawyer has rubbished the claims that the Juventus star raped a woman back in 2009 as 'complete fabrications' but says the encounter was consensual. Attorney Peter S. Christiansen on Wednesday issued a statement that doesn't deny Ronaldo and the woman reached a non-disclosure agreement in 2010. The statement declared that documents cited in media reports about Ronaldo's Las Vegas hotel penthouse encounter in 2009 with Kathryn Mayorga were altered before being 'irresponsibly published.' Mayorga's attorneys did not immediately respond to messages. A lawsuit filed September 27 in Nevada state court seeks to void the non-disclosure agreement that Mayorga's attorneys say she signed while accepting $375,000 (£284,000) to keep quiet. Las Vegas p...
