Actor Jack Whitehall admits stealing from hotels, says he inherited the habit from his mother

Hollywood actor and comedian, Jack Whitehall has admitted stealing from hotels which according to him, was a habit he learnt from his mother. The 33-year-old funnyman who spoke about his bizarre habit, which he claimed he ‘inherited’ from his mother Hilary, who has been stealing the contents of hotel rooms for decades, said he steals light bulbs and batteries from the TV remote while staying in expensive hotels. Noting that he has been lucky to earn millions from his successful TV and movie career, the comedian however said he’s unable to stop himself from pocketing stuff from hotels. Speeding truck crushes student and tricyclist in Ibadan

A speeding truck on Thursday December 16, crushed a student and a tricycle rider. The accident occurred around Airport Junction at Alakia area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital. The truck which rammed into three parked tricycles, killed a driver who has now been identified as Kayode. The truck driver who reportedly refused to stop and while speeding away from the scene,  also crushed a student. It is however not clear whether the student died instantly or not. The driver who was given a hot chase, was eventually captured and handed over to the police at Gbagi Police Station. It was learnt that the timely arrival of policemen and members of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps stopped the driver from being lynched.

In a recent interview, dancehall star, Patoranking reveals why he chosed reggae music. “One of the reasons I chose reggae even though it might sound funny is because of the girls. I remember back then in secondary school, if you did not know how to mime songs, you could not get the girls and I like standing out. I thought it would be wise for me to mime the songs that my colleagues won’t know. I listened to more reggae songs. Whenever I did that, the girls were always impressed. I listened to a lot of Bob Marley and Lucky Dube’s songs.”
