Actress Victoria Inyama has said that she doesn't surround herself with people who are constantly happy. The actress who averred that such people are pretending and smiling to mask the "bullshit life" they actually have, further claimed that she prefers real people who are honest and raw. Maintaining that some days suck, she urged everyone not to fake a smile even if it's to "spite her or pepper her and others on her level". COVID-19: Police told to enforce wearing of face masks

Police in Ogun State have been directed to enforce the wearing of face masks to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the state. Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 2, Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, gave this directive on Wednesday during his familiarisation visit to the Ogun police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta. While saying COVID-19 is still in existence, Kokumo expressed worry that Ogun residents do not believe the disease still exists. A video of a priest kissing at least 3 female students of St. Monica College of Education in Ghana has gone viral. In the video, the man, said to be an Anglican priest, is seen at the altar, giving the girls kisses on their lips, one after the other, while congregants watched and screamed in excitement. One female student appeared reluctant and refused to pull down her face mask, but the priest drew her close, helped her pull down her mask and kissed her for seconds, despite the girl's discomfort. Nasarawa Attorney General, Abdulkarim Kana, Tests Positive For COVID-19

The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Abdulkarim Kana, has tested positive for Covid-19. The state Commissioner for Health, Yahaya Ahmed, who confirmed this to newsmen, said Kana has gone into self-isolation and that he is in stable condition. Kana is a member of the state Taskforce on Covid-19 who was reported to be conscious of the pandemic by observing its safety rules like daily wearing of mask, washing of hands and usage of hand sanitizer. Nasarawa currently has 234 confirmed cases of the viral disease.

A man has claimed that SARS tried to extort him and his wife of 500,000 Naira after they were seen outside past curfew. Bruce Bateman said the incident happened 2 weeks ago. He claims the SARS officials drove him and his wife from Lekki to Marina and asked them to withdraw 500K from the ATM. He said 250K was the fine levied on him and 250K on his wife. The Reds boss has urged his players to play it safe when out and about as Covid-19 continues to spread Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged his players to wear masks and gloves in public to minimise the risk of contracting coronavirus. The Premier League will restart on June 17 after a three-month suspension caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Reds’ first game back will be away to city rivals Everton on June 20 as Klopp’s team edge towards a first Premier League title in 30 years. Life in China is now returning to normalcy since the outbreak of Coronavirus.   With some schools slowly reopening after the long hiatus, one school in the city of Hangzhou have enforced social distancing by letting students wear DIY hats with 3-foot-long horizontal plumes. Duke University professor, Eileen Chengyin Chow shared photos showing first graders at the Yangzheng Elementary School sitting in a classroom with desks arranged in single rows.     In the pictures, the students were also pictured wearing face masks and colourful headgear with extended plumes made out of cardboard and, in one case, balloons. Corper Shot Dead In Delta By A Masked Man

A National Youth Service Corps, member, Mr Toriseju Lodge has been shot dead at Oghara in Delta State by a suspected cultist in front of his apartment. The Youth Corper who was serving in Imo State was said to have return to his rented apartment in Oghara, where he has been staying as a student of Western Delta before passing out to celebrate Easter with friends when the gunman who was said to be wearing a mask, struck. According to reports, the young man was outside that night, checking his phone when the gunman suddenly emerged and shot him thrice. He then took his mobile phone, removed the sim card and memory card before destroying the phone and disappearing into the night.. Meanwhile, Toju's body has been deposited in the morgue.
