Two Nigerians arrested in Malawi for alleged possession of cocaine

Two Nigerians have been arrested after being found with 11 grams of cocaine in Lilongwe, Malawi. The two suspects have been identified as 35-year-old Chinesi Omuka and Ejike Enebenchu, 29. Spokesperson for the Central West Police Region, Alfred Chinthere, who disclosed this on Friday, October 22, said the duo were nabbed at their home in  Area 49 following a tip-off. 11 grams of cocaine were recovered from them during the raid. Omuka and Ebenenchu are expected to appear before court soon to answer a charge of being found in possession of illicit drugs. Acccording to the police spokesperson, the second accused Enebenchu was in July this year convicted on the same charge. He paid a K200 thousand fine for the offence.

EFCC busts 12 suspected ‘Yahoo boys’ in Ibadan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 12 suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren announced the operation in a statement on Friday. The alleged scammers were apprehended at Alapata and Awotan areas of Ibadan. The suspects, mostly undergraduates, were nabbed following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related crimes. Fraudulent documents and other instruments allegedly used in committing the crimes were recovered. Uwujaren said a Toyota Corolla, sophisticated phones and laptops were also seized by operatives. The suspects will be charged to court at the completion of investigations.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested a suspected Nigerian drug trafficker during a raid in Goa, India, an official said on Tuesday, September 7. A married man identified simply as Lucky has been nabbed by residents of South Africa community in Abakpa, Enugu State after defiling a 13-year-old girl. The minor identified as Godiya met Lucky after leaving her grandmother's house who scolded her. 7 Ghanaians Arrested in Lagos for Drug Trafficking

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 7 Ghanaian nationals in Abule-Egba on charges of drug trafficking. The suspects who were arrested on March 14 by policemen attached to Oke Odo Police Station of the Lagos State Police Command, had attempted to smuggle illicit substance into the country. Imported Thugs Nabbed In Akwa Ibom Ahead Of Governorship Election

Some suspected thugs have been apprehended by police operatives earlier today in Akwa Ibom state. According to reports, the men were allegedly imported from Edo and Ekiti states, ahead of the governorship election on Saturday, March 9, 2019. 3 Female Students Nabbed While Performing Rituals With Ladies’ Pants

Three females students have been nabbed while performing rituals with ladies’ pants in the middle of the night. The unnamed student are reportedly students of one of the universities in Ile-Ife, Osun State The trio were nabbed in the early hours of today, with calabashes on their heads. They were allegedly planning to have their bath at a T-junction when they were caught. Items found with them include buckets of water, local sponges, three charm-filled calabashes and some panties suspected to be those of their colleagues in school. While being questioned, they were not able to give tangible sources of the items found on them, especially the female panties.
