A naming ceremony which was recently held in the country, took a different twist after strippers showed up for the event. In the video shared online, one of the strippers who was unclad was seen giving a lap dance to a guy who showed up for the event. It was further learnt that the naming ceremony took place last week Sunday, June 25. Watch the video below........

The naming ceremony of the son of Kemisola Ogunniyi, the #EndSARS protester who was two months pregnant at the time she was arrested by soldiers in Akure, Ondo State capital alongside three others, held today June 23.  He was named Okikoiola Freedom Erinponmile. In attendance was the wife of the Ooni of Ife, Prophetess Naomi Ogunwusi. Kemisola was arrested after the violence that erupted in the wake of the October 2020 #EndSARS protests. She was accused of being one of those that set the state secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ablaze. On June 16, she welcomed her baby boy while in prison. See more photos below...

Bandits Kidnap 20 Women Attending Naming Ceremony In Katsina

No fewer than 20 women mostly married were kidnapped by armed bandits while attending a naming ceremony at Gidan Bido village of Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State on Friday afternoon, Katsina Post learnt. According to our remote reporter in the area, the incident occurred on Friday, 23rd of April, 2021 around 1pm. In a similar case, another group of bandits attacked and also kidnapped five (5) men at Unguwar Bawa village of Dandume LGA Katsina State in the early morning hours of Saturday, 24th of April, 2021 around 2:00am. The member representing Dandume LGA in the Katsina State House of Assembly came from Unguwar Bawa village. Police authorities in the state are yet to comment on the issue as at the time of filing this report.

A 12-year-old homeless street child has given birth to a baby at a dumpster. According to Child's Right and Rehabilitation Network (CRARN) a charity organization in Nigeria: "The girl's only shelter is a dumpster at a dump side meant for collecting recycles, such as cans, aluminum, coppers and used plastic bottles. They had a naming ceremony and the child was named Miracle."

Five babies at a time? This is the work of God and they babies are very healthy. What a jouyful moment in this wonderful family. Oluwakemi Funmilayo Aminu and her husband Imudia Uduehi welcomed a set of quintuplets on April 12th in Abuja. The covenant naming ceremony was held at The National Hospital, Abuja on April 19th and it was great. I know some people that you will even wish for their wife to born twins and they will cause you and ask you if you will bring money for NAN and some other babe foods. Though those kind is as a result of poverty anyway. Congratulations once more to Oluwakemi Funmilayo Aminu and her family.
