Three occupants in the vehicle pictured above, escaped unhurt after a 40 feet tanker fell on their vehicle while they were commuting along the Ikorodu-Sagamu road on Monday, October 11. The occupants were said to have been smart enough to run out of the vehicle when they noticed the container was about to fall off the trailer carrying it.

Three herders killed in reprisal attack on Kaduna community

Three herders have been reportedly killed in a reprisal attack by gunmen who stormed Ribok, Tsoriyang and Kankada areas of Zangon Kataf LGA, Kaduna state. At least 5 people lost their lives and 2 were seriously injured in a fatal accident on the Nsukka-Obollo road in Enugu State. Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspects, Recover Arms In Nsukka

The Police in Enugu State says it has arrested two notorious armed robbery suspects and recovered arms as part of efforts to curb criminal activities in the state. The command said that it recovered one locally-made chief revolver pistol with five 9mm ammunition. 10 Bank Robbers Shot Dead in Brazil

At least 10 bank robbers were shot dead on Thursday, after Brazilian military police busted a gang trying to blow up ATM machines near Sao Paulo. A manhunt is under way for the rest of the assailants after they fled two banks in Guararema municipality, 80 kilometres north-east of Brazil’s biggest city, the Sao Paulo state government said in a statement. Some of the attackers forced their way into a house where they held the occupants hostage. The hostages were later freed by military police.
