Senate to summon Customs CG, Ali over invasion of Ibadan markets

Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content, Teslim Folarin, has said that the Senate will summon Controller General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd) over invasion of some markets in Ibadan by Customs officers. Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State. A Kenyan police constable identified as Michael Siwalo with service number 116272, committed suicide on Friday May 15 after shooting his wife following a domestic dispute.
