Spanish top-flight officials are trying to establish if the Barca squad breached current COVID-19 rules in place. The rule states that only groups of up to six people can converge in an indoor or outdoor setting at any time. Messi hosted a team meeting at his Castelldefels residence on Monday, ahead of this weekend’s crunch fixture against Atletico Madrid. But the players are now facing sanctions if they are found guilty of flouting social distancing protocols. A lady has been arrested for allegedly beating her stepdaughter to death in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital for eating plantain the father of the girl bought for the house. It was gathered that even after a female soldier intervened, the lady said to be the wife of a soldier serving at the 6 Division of the Nigeria Army in Port Harcourt called her husband who ordered the female soldier out of their apartment. The 10-year-old girl reportedly slumped and died after her stepmother continued beating her after the female soldier left their apartment. A man has committed suicide in Jibia town in Katsina state. Residents of the community woke up to find the man whose name wasn't disclosed, dangling from a tree. No one knows the reason why he killed himself, however, his neighbors say he has been facing serious financial challenges. His body has since been evacuated by the state health officials. IG user, Ohaka Miracle, who witnessed the incident, said it happened along Satellite Town in Calabar, the Cross Rivers state capital today January 25th. According to him, the officers beat up the driver and afterwards dragged him on the road and allegedly tried putting him in a car booth. A military plane carrying carrying Sudanese Judges and Army officials crashed on Thursday January 2, 2020 shortly after taking off from an airport in Sudan's West Darfur. Though what caused the plane crash is still not known, however it reportedly occurred about 10 km (6 miles)from the airport. An official at el-Geneina airport said there were about 18 people on board and they were all killed in the plane crash. Army spokesman Amer Mohammed al-Hassan who confirmed the incident, told AFP that among the victims were seven crew members, three judges and eight civilians, four of which were children. Parts of Davido’s father’s house gutted by fire today

Davido's father, Adedeji Adeleke's house on Esther Adeleke street in Lekki, Lagos state was gutted by fire today July 16th. According to an eyewitness, the fire started this afternoon at about 1pm at the pent house of the building.   The fire service officials were alerted and they were able to quickly put out the fire before it spread to other sections of the house. No casualty was recorded in the incident.
