''I haven’t had a decent haircut for almost a month and I have been wearing hoodies like a criminal( just kidding) . Yes I have been busy but the main reason I haven’t had a haircut is because the last times a white man touched my hair he collected £50 only to shame me. Chelsea’s move for Kounde collapses

Chelsea’s pursuit of Jules Kounde has fallen through, with the Premier League club unwilling to meet Sevilla’s new valuation. The Athletic reports that the LaLiga unexpectedly hiked Kounde’s price up. The 22-year-old appeared set to join the Blues this summer with Chelsea and Sevilla reaching an agreement over a £43million fee for the defender. However, the move is set to hit the rocks, with just hours before the summer window slams shut. Earlier reports had suggested that Sevilla’s new price for Kounde was £68.5m, which is much closer to his release clause. Others claim the price has increased by £12.8m. Chelsea have now decided not to increase their offer and will elect to stay with their current defensive options until the January transfer window. Despite selling Kur...

Insecurity: Imo residents groan over sudden hike in prices of goods

Residents of Imo State have lamented the sudden increase in prices of commodities, calling on the government to wade into the crisis. Some residents who spoke in a radio phone-in program aired by Oziza FM in Owerri, the state capital, blamed it on the sellers who, according to them, inflated prices to make outrageous profits. A sachet water distributor pointed out some reasons which led to the increase. He said the materials used in producing the bottles and sachets have become costly and scarce in the market, causing an increase in the cost of production. “If the cost of materials keeps skyrocketing, we will be left with no option than to increase the price of sachet water which is currently 200 to 300naira per bag,” he stated. Chelsea remain favourites to land Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, despite new attempts from Arsenal. The former Liverpool man has spent the second half of this season on loan at the German giants, but they aren't interested in meeting the £110million asking price. Barca are willing to take a massive hit on the £105m they paid upfront for the 27-year-old and could accept as little as £80m. But the coronavirus crisis means that few clubs will be willing to invest such large sums in players after being starved of income for almost three months.
