Gunmen attack Abaomege Police Division in Ebonyi

Some armed hoodlums have attacked Abaomege Police Division in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The Ebonyi Commissioner for Internal Security, Mr Stanley Okoro-Emegha, confirmed the attack to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abakaliki on Sunday. Okoro-Emegha described the attack as ‘worrisome and unfortunate.’ “The Abaomege division was attacked yesterday, Saturday; it is very unfortunate and worrisome. “They carted away valuables and destroyed property. “I urge the police to step up strategy to deal with these hoodlums,” he stated. Sunday Okafor, an eyewitness and resident in the area, speaking with NAN, said the incident occurred on Saturday night.

Six people narrowly escaped death after two vehicles collided on Dada Estate Road in Osogbo, Osun state. The accident happened on Friday morning, April 30, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). Three siblings between the ages of two months and five years old burnt to death in Anambra

Tragedy struck in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State today February 15th after three siblings, two boys and a girl between the ages of two months to five years, were burnt to death in a fire outbreak inside their parent's home. According to a statement by the state police command spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, the deceased children suffered varying degrees of burns and died on the spot.
